Chihuahuas win in extra innings to clinch playoff berth

The El Paso Chihuahuas were in a tight game all night long Sunday, as they took on the Reno Aces.

The Chihuahuas were leading 4-2 in the bottom of the 9th when the Aces scored 2 runs to send the game to extra innings.

Thanks to a Hector Gomez single and a Hunter Renfroe double, the Chihuahuas scored 3 runs in the top of the 10th to seal the victory.

The dogs now sit at 78-65 on the season and with a Las Vegas 51 loss, they are now guaranteed into the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
