Man airlifted to UMC after stabbing in Las Cruces

Las Cruces Police say a man was airlifted to University Medical Center after being stabbed Sunday evening.

It happened shortly before seven at a trailer park on the 100 block of East Madrid Avenue.

Police tell ABC-7 the man is in his 30’s or 40’s and was stabbed in the upper torso. They say he was not cooperating with authorities and could not provide a description of a suspect.

A nearby neighbor told ABC-7 the man lives in the trailer park and that he walked across the street before calling for help.

No arrests have been made.
