Stray dogs kill several goats in West El Paso County

El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies and Animal Control officers removed several goats from a West El Paso County property on Tuesday after an animal attack.

The deputies and officers responded to the property in the 6600 block of Strahan and saw that several stray dogs had made their way onto the property.

The property is farm land used to keep goats.

Five of the seven goats attacked died as a result of the attack and were taken by the El Paso County Road and Bridge Department.

The two surviving goats were taken by neighbors to provide medical assistance.

Sheriff’s officials say an attempt has been made to contact the property owner but could not be reached at the time of the incident.
