water main break on portion of alameda shuts down several lanes of traffic this morning. plus–nearly 50- million americans are expected to be traveling for the holiday weekend–we’ll have some travel tips for you before you get on your way– / also– residents in one northeast el paso neighborhood are on edge after ongoing vandalism to their cars — now el paso police are asking for the public’s help. / “”it is graphic, it is violent it is chilling.” and—protests overnight in the windy city after the dash-cam video of a fatal police shooting is released to the public– causing outrage. a very good morning el paso, las cruces, and juarez. i’m stephanie valle. stephanie valle. and i’m hillary floren. good morning, everyone. south to southwest winds will bring more warm weather with above normal temperatures to southern new mexico and west texas today and again on thanksgiving thursday. however moisture will also flow into the region and as a result there will be good chances for showers and even isolated thunderstorms tonight and again on thursday. a cold front will then push into the region and this will result in scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms along with cooler temperatures across the borderland friday and saturday. we’ll talk more about what to expect for the rest of this work week and the weekend ahead coming up in your full forecast. now to round the clock news coverage– now to round the clock news coverage– two lanes on alameda are shut down after a water main break earlier this morning. it happened just before 2 a.m. at 74-40 alameda near carolina street. that’s in the lower valley. an el paso water utilities crew is working to fix the break but right now two east bound lanes on alameda are closed. it is unknown at this time what caused the break or how many customers are being affected but we will let you know when all lanes have been reopened . / it’s one of the biggest travel days of the year! abc-7’s denise olivas is live with your holiday travel report… denise? which officials say shows 17-year-old laquan mcdonald … walking away from officers before being shot 16 times ..by police officer jason van dyke. sot – anita alvarez / state’s attorney, cook county “it i graphic, it is violent, it is chilling. a 17 year old young man die in such a violent manner is simply disturbing.” the vide tearing at the hearts of chicagoans.. after a year long investigation – but now that van dyke is charged with first degree murder…. documented details are unfolding. on october 20, 2014 – 9:47pm police receive a call about a suspect armed with a knife, breaking into cars. within ten minutes officers find mcdonald walking down the street. the video shows mcdonald was moving away from the officers. the prosecutor says within six seconds – van dyke opened fire – shooting all 16 rounds from his 9 mm gun within 15 seconds. mcdonald falls to the ground almost instantly?
