NMSU falls to Arkansas State

Jordan Bergstrom had a career-high in both receiving yards and touchdowns as the NM State football team fell 52-28 to Arkansas State onSaturdayin Aggie Memorial Stadium. Prior to the game, Bergstrom and the other seniors were honored for Senior Day.

Bergstrom amassed 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns on just four catches to lead the NM State (3-8, 3-4 SBC) offense. Larry Rose III racked up 106 rushing yards on 15 carries. This was his seventh 100-yard rushing game of the season.

Andrew Allen completed 13-of-24 passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns, while Nick Jeanty was 13-of-17 for 104 yards and one touchdown. Jacob Nwangwa led the defense with 10 tackles.

Fredi Knight was 23-of-42 for 367 yards and two touchdowns for the Red Wolves (8-3, 7-0 SBC).

The Aggies take the field again for the season finalenext Saturdayas they travel to Monroe, La. for a 1 p.m. MT kickoff against ULM. The game will air on ESPN3 and will be broadcast on AM 570.
