Sheriffs investigate suspicious death in Clint.
that was found in clint early this morning. investigators were called out to the 4- hundred block of porter rabb road. that’s in between north loop and alameda. abc-7’s jerry najera was at the scene. he’s live with new details. new tonight… sheriffs deputies tell abc-seven the man found dead was 30-year-old david miranda. he was from fabens. but authorities are remaing tight- lipped about how he died. “well when i first saw that pic up i thought there was someone out there picking pecans’ a.r. miller is the owner of the two pecan farms along porter rabb road. he tells me people often tresspass on his farms to steal pecans but wednesday was was different “an then i looked further up and saw the dead person” miller was driving along an irrigation ditch when when he saw the body. he also found a white pick up truck with blood splatters on the hood and bullet casings on the ground. “it’ pretty evident there was gun shots” miller recalls hearing gunshots monday evening “it sounded like maybe 10 or 15 shots” the farm owner says the body had looked like it had been there a few days “it’s not something you’d want to look at everyday” a spokesperson for the sheriffs office says at this point the investigation is still in the preliminary stages and is ongoing. all they are saying about miranda’s death is that it is suspicious. we’re still waiting to learn more about the body
