Former UTEP Miner Gives Back to Football Community

Horace Miller is a former UTEP Linebacker and played for the school from 2011-2013. Miller was undrafted out of college but still pursued his dream of playing in the NFL despite the circumstances.

Miller went on to play for the Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers and made the practice squad for the Oakland Raiders. But one thing Miller said he has always wanted to do was to help student athletes in familiar situations.

Miller created the website www.getmed1.com that that allows high school football players to have a voice in the entire recruitment process. The website has developed a huge database full of resources and contacts that gives athletes the very best chance of getting noticed at the next level.

“With Get me D1 you can create free profiles, you can upload unlimited highlight tapes, videos, pictures, stats, athletic achievements all for free,” Miller said.

Miller is an NFL free agent but is currently working out for the Seattle Seahawks.
