HS Hoops: McDonald’s Tournament Begins

mcdonalds classic basketball tournament.. some of el paso’s best teams squaring off against some of the best in the nation… we start at eastwood high school … the troopers taking on nfl yet college prep out of phoenix… and eastwood wasted no time…off the steal christopher nobles all alone and opens up the can of slam for their first bucket of the game! and the troopers were just too big on the glass. nick barrio with the basket and the foul! and later off the miss…its barrio again with the offensive board and the putback and 1!!! the troopers roll past nfl yet 74-48 your final. bowie taking on pro vision academy out of houston… bowie came to play… beautiful bounce pass from bobby lerma to andy valdez… later… off the inbound… taj royster with the dunk for pro vision… he’s 6-8… you see how big these guys are … bowie doesn’t care… the bears know they hang with anyone… josh hidalgo… it’s like butta! later… josh prado steals the inbound pass and dominic johnson is there to finish… this was an entertaining game… same sequence… this time pro vision breaks the press and responds with the dunk… bowie ends up answering that with a three… great game but in the end… pro vision wins 73-65… but bowie has a chance to play them again… diamond ranch out of ponoma california taking on coronado… and this one was all coronado… off the inbound… daniel ayala with the finish… and then later… diamond ranch trying to push… that’s not gonna happen… andrew houghton steals it and he’ll push it ahead to brandon cartwright… t-birds all over diamond ranch 79-60… morgan park vs burges hamilton vs eastwood nfl yet vs eastwood pro vision vs bowie diamond ranch vs coronado the utep miners basketball team will
