City of El Paso holiday closures, hours

In observance of the December holiday season, the following operational schedule changes will be made to allow city employees time to celebrate the holidays. City Hall and all City department administrative offices will be closed from Thursday, December 24, 2015 through January 3, 2016. City Hall and all administrative offices resume regular business hours at 7 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016. The following will be closed Christmas Eve and Day and New Year’s Eve and Day:

Closed Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1

Citizen Collection Stations and One Stop Shop (permits)

Close early Dec. 24 and Dec. 31

Animal Services Shelter (To close at noon) and Greater El Paso Landfill (To close at noon)

Closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1

El Paso Museums (Archeology, Art, History)

El Paso Public Library Branches

El Paso Recreation Centers, Senior Centers, Sports Centers and Daycare Operations

El Paso Zoo

Public Health Facilities (clinics, labs)

* Garbage & Recycling Collections:

No collections on Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1

Friday collections will be Saturday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 2

* Sun Metro will be on a special holiday schedule on Friday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1. Only 25 routes will be operational on these two dates. See Sun Metro’s schedule newspaper, visit www.sunmetro.net or call (915) 212-3333 for complete details.

* The Downtown Art & Farmers Market will be closed on Saturday, January 2
