High-speed chase ends with arrest of wanted man

Esequiel Rivas-Macias, 24, was arrested early Friday morning after leading troopers on a high-speed pursuit.

A trooper in Culberson County spotted Rivas-Macias speeding on I-10 heading west. When the trooper tried to stop the suspect, Rivas-Macias did not pull over.

The pursuit ended after more than 30 miles from the I-10 and I-20 split, after Rivas-Macias surrendered.
