Tractor-trail fire shuts down portion of eastbound I-10

A tractor-trailer fire caused eastbound lanes of I-10 to be shut down for a couple hours.

According to the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office all eastbound lanes were closed off near mile marker 91, which is near Fort Hancock.

Officials says the Hancock Fire Department and other surrounding agencies assisted in putting out the fire and clearing the roadway.

The Sheriff’s Office said there were no reported injuries.
