Police: Woman shoots baby’s father after argument

A 29-year-old woman has been arrested after police say she shot her baby’s father in the torso Tuesday night.

El Paso Police said 29-year-old Patricia McKee shot 32-year-old Jeffery Fisk after an argument centered on a vehicle.

Police said Fisk was seated inside the vehicle outside a house located on the 10300 block of Grouse in northeast El Paso when he noticed McKee walk into a recreational vehicle.

That’s when she returned she was armed with a pistol. Fisk then got out of the vehicle, at which time, McKee fired the pistol and struck Fisk in the torso.

Fisk was taken to an area hospital and his injuries are not believed to life threatening at this time.

McKee was placed under arrest and has been booked into the El Paso County
Detention Facility on a single charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Family Violence. Her bond was set at $75,000.00.
