Animal Services hosts adoption celebration
The Animal Services Shelter is celebrating the creation of its in-house adoption program by having an adoption party all weekend long.
The celebration, which begins Friday, February 12, and runs through Sunday, February 14, will feature reduced adoption fees of $45. The fee includes vaccines, microchipping, and neuter/spay.
In addition to the reduced fees, the Animal Services Shelter will be having a cupcake party for all shelter dogs and puppies on Friday morning, and will also be hosting a puppy kissing booth Friday and Sunday.
The shelter is located at 5001 Fred Wilson Ave., across from the Ft. Bliss cemetery.
During this weekend’s celebration, the Animal Services Shelter will also honor its weekly “Feline Fridays” promotion. Every Friday at the shelter adoption fees are waived for all cats and kittens and the same promotion will be available on February 12 as well.
