A Las Cruces man has been sentenced to 21 years in prison after burglarizing two homes and setting them on fire.

Forty-one–year-old Ruben Armijo was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty and no contest to a lengthy list of charges.

During the sentencing phase the judge called Armijo a “professional criminal.”
