West Side construction frustrates drivers

EL PASO — For the past month, a gas company project has closed the right turning lane from Osborne Drive onto Mesa Street, and the right lane on Mesa in West El Paso.
One after another KVIA News spotted drivers slowing down traffic while trying to make a U-turn at the intersection, which does not have a temporary “No U-turn” sign in place.
A spokeswoman for the gas company said construction is scheduled to finished in March.
The Texas Department of Transportation did not respond to calls or emails.
