Make a Wish Foudnation

“cheering.” walking for wishes. that’s how hundreds of people started their weekend. more than 700 hundred people walked around the fountains at farah to support the make a wish foundation. the organization grants wishes for children with life- threatening illnesses. volunteers, families and participants cheered the children on as they donned their capes to cross the finish line. one man we spoke with says his son was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. he says make a wish stepped in to grant his wish–to meet captain america: “it was great to see a smile he had a great time, when we came back he continued treatment and now he’s back in school.” organizers tell us more than 49- thousand dollars was raised!
