Deadly Crash update

her loved ones when her car came to a stop in the left lane. moments later, another car driving on the highway crashed into the woman’s car- causing the fuel tank to rupture and catch fire. the woman, her friend, her two-year old son and her 1-month old baby were killed. good afternoon and thank you for joing us. i’m josie ortegon. and i’m evan folan. this is the latest information. the crash happened around midnight on 1-25 underneath the highway 70 underpass. i 25 between hwy 70 and the dona ana exit was completely shut down for hours as police were on scene investigating. police say 28-year old antoinette harwood was on 1-25 when the car came to a stop. that’s when police say– a car driven by 18-year old, noa siamu crashed into the car, causing it to burst into flames. harwood and her boyfriend’s sister–19-year old corine banda died at the scene. harwood’s two children, 2-year old adrian banda and 1- month old lay-ahna banda were taken to the hospital where they died. siamu was airlifted to umc and is in stable condition. we’ve been in contact with the family. you can imagine the pain they are in. but they shared these photos with us. this is 28-year old antoinette harwood. her sister tells us she was a good hearted, loving mother of five. harwood’s 2-year old son, adrian jr. was also killed. he just turned two in february. and layahna band was killed. she was only 18-days old. truly tragic… thank you josie. abc-7 reporter jamie warren has been talking with friends of antoinette harwood. she shares perspective on the live antoinette lived. she is live with more … evan and josie just a tragedy that happened early this morning here on i 25. friends of antoinette the driver, tell me she had just given birth two a baby only 18 days ago. 15:05:48 tiana shoemaker she was a great person she was a fabulous mom she was always there for everybody if they needed her it’s just it hurts to see her taken so fast especially her babies tiana and april tell me they were friends with antoinette for over 20 years. all three went to school together. as they got older, they all had kids but always kept in touch. they described antoinette as loving, sweet, and understanding. someone who friends could confide in when in need. they say what happened early this morning still doesn’t feel real. they had this message for the devoted mother: 15:19 they tell me antoinette also had two older children who were 6 and 9 years old. they were not involved in the crash. we have new information… on
