Chihuahuas beat Reno 10-3 in home opener

while but it’s finally here. after an 8-day road trip, the chihuahuas back in el paso for their home opener. the gates are open. the fans come swarming in. the free swag is being distributed. baseball’s back. jennifer han throwing out the first pitch…she has a fight there in two weeks. pitch could have been better but don’t tell her i said that…please don’t. how about the game itself…reno jumped out to an early lead…kyle jenson with the shot to left ..that’ll score two …it’s 3-0 aces. but the dogs respond…down 3-2 they get a two run blast courtesy of ryan schimpf. puts them ahead 4-3. dogs go on to win 10-3. “even if it snowed i was gonn be here. season ticket holder, gotta come out here and watch baseball. it’s been too long. yeah we were coming out just in case. got to watch baseball. it’s been since september since we’ve seen it here other than the padres game.” “the boys have great time. it starts in spring training, and then we take it here to the stadium, and we’re gonna have a long season of a lot of great memories.”
