Defense impresses at NMSU spring game

that will get a makeover of its own. the aggies held their spring game today and their was one side of the ball that made a strong statement. head coach doug martin watching his players hoping to see some improvement from last year. early on—qb tyler rogers connects with tyrian taylor for a huge gain… something we missed as fans last season. but the defense was the strong point of today. the drive stalls when rogers is sacked by kourtland busby but the offense would eventually respond. king burke rumbles in for a td early second quarter but the defense absolutely dominant. and uhh you better keep your head up or this may happen!!! the defense laying a huge hit… and christian gibson gets the pick. that is how it is done ladies and gentlemen. defense lights out as they beat the offense 68-18 “i thought the other thing we saw was the talent at wr, and we were really loaded at the wr spot which will make rose’s life a lot easier.” “overall it was goo for us, i felt like our o found our identity..it’s gonna be real good,.” “this spring ha been one of our best since i’ve been here.. pushing it better.”
