trump is focusing on the general election. trump sot: “we’re going after hillary clinton…” and for the democrats, hillary clinton, lost to bernie sanders in indiana, which sanders says gives him the momentum sanders sot: “i understand that sec. clinton thinks that this campaign is over. i’ve got some bad news for her. ” tag: abc news estimates tha it is mathematically impossible for sanders to clinch the nomination without a massive change in the superdelegates?and while that’s unlikley to happen, clinton would need to win 70 percent of remaining pledged delegates to guarantee her nomination. lz, abcn, w here is a look at the delegate count for the nomination. trump has 1- thousand-47 delegates. 1- thousand 237 are need to win. only 520 are left … john kasich would need to pull off some enormous upsets if he wants to force a contested convention. on the democratic side… hillary clinton has 16- hundred-82 pledged delgates. bernie sanders has 13- hundred-61 but when you include super-delegates… hillary clinton has 2-thousand-202… and she needs 23- hundred-83 to win. the buzz is growing around senator tim kaine as a possible running mate for hillary clinton. the virginia democrat previously served as virginia’s governor, lieutenant governor and chairman of the democratic national committee. he was also vetted as a potential running mate for barack obama in 2008. supporters say kaine can help clinton win over independents in swing states — and that he has the foreign policy background needed to run for higher office. kaine told c- n-n last week that he’s not aware of being “on any list.” new this morning… a new mexico man is in custody in connection with the kidnapping and death of a little girl. 11-year-old ashlynne mike’s body was found yesterday, about 6 miles south of shiprock monument. this all happened a day after she was taken. officials say she and her younger brother got into a van after getting off the school bus. a driver reportedly saw ashlynn’s brother walking along the side of the road hours later. the suspect..tom begaye is set to appear before a judge today. multiple state, local, and federal authorities are investigating. happening today– the price’s creameries el paso athletic hall of fame banquet. eight inductees will be honored for their contributions to sports in the sun city. good morning el paso’s denise olivas is live with the details…denise?
