City says Manor Place Street Project will be finalized in few months
Beginning Monday, May 16, 2016, Manor Place will be closed to thru traffic to allow the City of El Paso’s Capital Improvement Department to finalize the Manor Place Street Reconstruction project.
The temporary closure along Manor Place, from Alameda Avenue to Barker Road, will last approximately 8 weeks. Residents and businesses will have access to their properties at all times.
Appropriate signage and marked detours will be in place throughout the duration of the project. The closure may be modified to accommodate any unforeseen weather conditions or events.
The Manor Place Reconstruction project with an approximate budget of $1,192,100 includes the complete reconstruction of Manor Place from Alameda Avenue to Barker Road, the installation of a storm sewer drainage system, sanitary sewer lines, waterline improvements, new ADA compliant sidewalks and driveways, as well as landscaping to improve the visual image of this lower valley neighborhood.
This project is part of the City of El Paso’s commitment to enhance El Paso’s regional transportation system.
