ABC-7 First Alert in effect for Wednesday: Blowing sand and dust, strong wind gusts expected

The ABC-7 Stormtrack Weather team has issued an ABC-7 First Alert for Wednesday.

We are tracking a weather system expected to bring blowing dust and sand along with powerful gusts up 40 mph.

The time for peak wind gusts will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Motorists are urged to use caution on the road. Individuals with respiratory issues should limit outdoor activities.
