Deadly hit-and-run under investigation in Chaparral

Doa Ana County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a deadly hit-and-run in Chaparral.

The body of a 50-year-old man was found in the 500 block of Paloma Blanca at around 9:30 Sunday night.

The man has not been identified because deputies have been unable to contact the victim’s next of kin.

Investigators did not provide a description of the vehicle.
