El Paso Sheriff’s Office identifies body found in Socorro

The El Paso Sheriff’s Office identified the man found dead near the intersection of Flor Bonita and Flor Preciosa as 68-year-old Denver Ehler.

Ehler had previously been reported to the Soccorro Police Department as a missing person. The Sheriff’s Office has taken over the investigation and deputies said foul play is not suspected.

The body was reportedly found Monday at noon.

Sheriff’s deputies have not said the cause of death and no other information is available at this time.
