abc-7 listens. she arrived in el paso four years ago … fresh out of college at arizona state. but she never missed a beat … quickly becoming a part of the good morning el paso team. i’m talking about stormtrack meteorologist krystal klei … who said goodbye to abc-7. dee anne commented on krystal’s facebook page … “congratulations! i’m happy for you! “however i’m sad knowing that we won’t see you each morning. you are so uplifting and positive. “you’ve become part of the morning that i look forward to. onward and upward!” george kept it simple … “no o-o” while judy emailed us with a question … “she has done an excellent job as meteorologist for your station. “i am wondering where and why she is leaving the area.” krystal responded to judy writing … “i’ll be leaving el paso for wcau nbc10 in philadelphia. “it’s a great opportunity that will allow me to grow as a meteorologist as well as explore a new part of the country. “i’ll miss the borderland terribly, especially all of our great viewers!” marco wants her t reconsider … “it is so cold up there don’t d it!!!” while, socorro emailed us to say … “hope you fin someone just as nice to replace her.” we think we have stormtracker nichole gomez … who has primarily been seen on abc-7 at 9 on the c-w … is going to have to buy a very good alarm clock … as she moves to good morning el paso which now begins at 4-30 a-m. but that’s not it. taking her place at 4 and 9 … will be stormtracker iris lopez. so, while we say goodbye and good luck to krystal … we are very excited about what the future holds for nichole and iris. rick cabrera. abc-7 listens. the tropical inverted trough over the big bend area will move little during
