two people needed help from the el paso fire department overnight in the franklin mountains. the latest details from our round the clock news team. plus— el paso police have released more details about a deadly crash involving a motorcycle. another suicide bomb attack overseas this weekend–the third attack in the area in less than a day. a very good morning el paso, las cruces, and juarez. i’m stephanie valle. and i’m hillary floren. good morning, everyone. clock news team… a man and a woman were rescued overnight on the westside of the franklin mountains.fire officials say the two 18-year-olds requested help getting down the mountain — just after 10 p.m. this happened near the 59-hundred block of los pueblos drive. it took search and rescue crews a little less than an hour to help the teens down. fire officials say the two were not injured, but were scared because they encountered snakes on the trail. police say they will release more information today about the deadly motorcycle crash we brought to you as breaking news yesterday morning. it happened at the intersection of spur 601 and loop 375 special traffic investigators closed off the intersection for hours. police say the man was riding his motorcycle when — for an unknown reason — he lost control of the bike. he died at the scene. the man’s name has not been released. el paso electric officials say a passing train is to blame for a downed cable line. they say the train pulled the lines by the railroad tracks near the union depot downtown and as a result, broke two poles!. crews were busy trying to figure out exactly how it happened. we’re told the cables were tv lines. that area was closed off for a couple of hours — but reopened a short while later. some of you may be recovering this morning after a long 4th of july weekend. with fireworks allowed in certain areas of el paso county for the first time in years– some residents may have a bigger mess to clean up this year.. we have good morning el paso’s denise olivas live with the details … denise? new this morning– in saudi arabia — four suicide bombers attacked three separate cities in less than twenty- four hours. here you can see smoke from the attack that happened in the city of medina. the bombing killed four saudi security troops and wounded five others. saudi authorities have now identified one of the attackers as a pakistani national. no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. hundreds took to the streets in baghdad this morning for one of the victims of a recent suicide bombing. the attack happened sunday. officials say a total of 157– people died. the attack that is has claimed responsibility for was the single deadliest attack in more than a decade. the israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu has met with african leaders at a summit focusing on security and the fight against islamic extremism. the meeting in the ugandan capital kampala was attended by the leaders of uganda, ethiopia, kenya, south sudan, rwanda, tanzania and zambia. netanyahu is on a four-day visit to east africa. police in brooklyn are still searching for a man who violently beat two men outside a mosque this weekend.. here, you can see the man attacking the men in this survelliance video. according to authorities they are not investigating the incident as a hate crime, the community in the area feel that it was. both victims were treated at local hospitals for their injuries. also in brooklyn, seven people are recovering this morning after a shooting. s the three women and four men were all shot outside an apartment complex last night. according to police they were all at a barbeque when they were shot. according to police, all the victims were in their twenties. their injuries were not life threatening. no word on a possible motive. new york police say it’ll be days before they get back lab results on the explosive that blew up in central park over the weekend. the homemade explosive seriously injured the foot of a 19-year-old man when it went off on sunday. investigators say the device was created by a quote”explosiv hobbyist” — meaning the person who made it had some knowledge of chemistry. investigators are also saying it didn’t appear to be designed to hurt people. one person is in jail after shooting a fireworks in a busy marketplace over the weekend. it happened last night in florida. according to police, no one was hurt but they did take one person into custody. they also said people believed it was gunshots. no word on whether the incident caused any damage authorities in alabama say they have recovered the body of a teen who drowned today . morgan county officials say the 17- year-old was with his family on the tennessee river– police say he was learning how to swim when he jumped in the water and went beneath a bridge. he never came back up. a water search began, and divers located the boy’s body about 30 minutes later. the victim’s name is not being released at this time. 6-07… weather and traffic on the 7s… broad area of high pressure over the region will keep the borderland quite warm and mostly dry. another triple- digit afternoon is expected across most of the lowlands. a few storms will pop this afternoon, but the majority of the region won’t see rain through mid week. a bit of added moisture sneaks in for thursday and friday for a slightly better chance of storms across the region, but it doesn’t linger long. by the upcoming weekend it looks generally dry and hot again. another problem is surfacing in rio
