Pokemon Go sweeping the Borderland

people staring down at their phones more than usual, that’s because they’re playing the new pokemon go app. it was just released as an android and apple app that requires you to move around to make it work and it’s already number one in the app store. the game is tied to real-world locations, like parks for pokemon activity. the purpose? to catch them all… “everybody’s going outside, running, excited, because you’re like living the dream. you’re actually going outside, meeting people. and you like pop your phone, and you’re like ‘oh my god, it’s a charmander! oh, it’s a zubat!’ and you’re excited!” the app was released for the united states this week, and is available in some places across the border in mexico as well.
