Humane Society Telethon ‘Pet of the Day’ – Baxter
This is Baxter, a four-year-old poodle mix. Baxter was brought into the Humane Society of El Paso by his caregiver. Sadly, the two had been living on the streets together for quite some time. Baxter’s owner made the tough and selfless decision to surrender Baxter to the HSEP, hoping to give him a better life.
Without proper care, a dog’s coat can get out of hand very quickly. Baxter is a perfect example of that. He was extremely matted. Fortunately, the HSEP has a talented groomer on staff who transformed Baxter into a brand new dog!
Baxter is not yet available for adoption, but he will be soon! The HSEP is looking forward to giving Baxter the life he deserves.
