Man accused of trying to attack woman with golf club, four arrested

The EPPD Gang Unit officers investigating an aggravated assault on the 3600 block of Cave Palm Place arrested four men.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, police arrested 18-year-old Mark Carlisle and charged him with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Evading Arrest, and Probation Violation. Police say Carlisle tried hitting the woman with the club.

Police charged 20-year old Cesar Contreras with Criminal Mischief. Officials said Contreras damaged a vehicle during the incident.

Also arrested during the incident were 19-year old Roberto Saenz and 22-year old Ruben Ramirez. Police said Saenz was found in possession of marijuana and a
controlled substance. Ramirez was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana.
