TxDOT Mesa Street study underway, public meetings this week.

TxDOT hosted the first of three public feedback meetings they have scheduled this week, regarding Mesa Street.

The Mesa Street Corridor Study began in January, and now TxDOT wants to get public input on what should needs to be improved along Mesa regarding congestion, safety, and accessibility.

The area of study along Mesa extends 12 miles, from Texas Ave. downtown, to Doniphan Drive, on the west side.

Two more TxDOT public meetings are scheduled this week. The first, is Wednesday, August 3rd at Mesita Elementary School, at 3307 North Stanton from 5 to 7 pm. Another meeting well be held Thursday, August 4th at the El Paso Police Department West Side Regional Command Center, located at 4801 Osborne Dr. from 5 to 7 pm.
