Police: Woman stabbed man outside Northeast El Paso bar

Police say a woman stabbed a man outside the Cinco Estrellas Bar (Five Stars Bar) in Northeast El Paso Friday morning.

The stabbing was reported at about 2 a.m. at 9440 McCombs.

Police say 32-year-old Rosalinda Medrano got into a fight with a 32-year-old man inside the bar. Once outside, Medrano allegedly stabbed the man with a knife twice in the upper body.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he is being treated for serious injuries.

Officers arrested Medrano at her home and charged her with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond has been set at $101,000.
