Police: Body with severed head, hands found in San Antonio

San Antonio police say a body without a head or hands was found burning in front of a dumpster in an apartment complex parking lot.

Police said Monday that they do not yet have any suspects or motives after the discovery of the body on Sunday. Police say they do not yet know the identity of the person.

Police say the head and hands were severed from the body before it was set on fire. Police Sgt. Jesse Salame said Monday they are not releasing any information currently on the possible location of the head and hands.

Police say the fire was extinguished upon the arrival of police and fire officials and several people helped.
