Six alleged members of ‘Chuco Tango’ gang arrested on drug charges

Investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) arrested six suspected gang members on drug charges.

The suspects, believed to be Chuco Tango criminal street gang members, are charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

The following individuals were arrested: Alberto Gonzalez, 49; Jose Zamudio-Martinez, 25; Ernesto Arzaga, 37; Ana Diaz Lopez, 33; Jessica Martinez, 25; and Jessica Freeman, 31.

All suspects are from the El Paso area, investigators said. They are being held at the El Paso County Jail.

The DPS Highway Patrol, United States Marshals Service, El Paso Police Department, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, and the United States Border Patrol assisted in this operation.
