UPDATE: 18 year-old motorcyclist dies from injuries

The happened around 7:30 p.m. on the 5100 block of Marcus Uribe, near Sean Haggerty.

The El Paso Police Department announced Saturday morning that the victim has died.

Dalester Gill (18) was traveling west on Marcus Uribe, near Sean Haggerty, and was accelerating to high rate of speed. He then lost control of the motorcycle and crashed.

Gill is the 48th traffic fatality of 2016, ahead of the 35 El Paso saw at this time last year.
