Man facing capital murder charge allegedly stole victim’s drugs, police say
Detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit arrested a man wanted for the murder of 30-year old Frank Christopher Hernandez.
20-year old Alan Rodriguez allegedly robbed the victim of drugs during a drug deal, then shot and killed Hernandez, police said.
Rodriguez is charged with Capital Murder. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $2 million bond.
Hernandez’s body was found by police officers responding to a “shots fired” call the early morning hours of September 21, 2016.
