FIRST ALERT: Wind, rain, & the cooler temps

Wind gusts will hit 40-50 mph, Monday. Winds will be strongest on the western slop of the mountains.

Temperatures will tumble to the lower 60s for highs on Monday. Over 20 degrees below average for this time of year.

For Monday rain chances will be highest in the Lower Valley around 60%. El Paso will see a 50% chance of rain, and Las Cruces will see a 40-50% chance of rain.

Rainfall will be light to moderate, so flooding will not be a threat.
