Sheriff’s Office looking for wanted sex offender

A registered sex offender for the offense of Indecency with a Child with a 9-year-old boy, is now wanted by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

This after he failed to report to the Horizon Halfway House last Tuesday, said a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office.

Ryan Glen Wright was released from the Childress I.S.F. on September 20, 2016 and was scheduled to arrive in El Paso the same date.

Wright was supposed to notify TDCJ Parole of his arrival and report to 1700 Horizon, but he never arrived.

A parole violation warrant was issued and his whereabouts are unknown.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating Wright.

He is currently on parole for Failure to Comply With Sex Offender Registration and is a registered sex offender for the offense of Indecency with a Child/Contact out of Jones County, TX, the victim being a 9-year-old boy.

Additional charges of Sex Offenders Duty to Register forthcoming.
