Police arrest teen in connection with killing of alleged drug dealer

Police arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder of Frank Christopher Hernandez.

The 16-year-old boy, charged with murder, has been turned over to the Juvenile Probation Department. Police arrested him Monday.

Last week, police arrested 20-year old Alan Rodriguez, who allegedly robbed Hernandez of drugs during a drug deal. Rodriguez shot and killed Hernandez, police said.

Rodriguez is charged with Capital Murder. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $2 million bond.

Hernandez’s body was found by police officers responding to a “shots fired” call the early morning hours of September 21, 2016.
