El Paso High will attempt to break record for biggest reunion

El Paso High School will try set a world record for the biggest reunion during its Centennial celebration Saturday.

The Tigers are also celebrating Homecoming, which will culminate with the 85th Battle of the Claw, El Paso High’s annual football game with rival Austin.

Representatives from Guinness World Records will be on hand to check in EPHS alumni. According the El Paso High Alumni Association, you must check-in at the official check-in stations starting at 9 a.m. on the El Paso High School Campus. You will be asked to show approved government issued ID to verify the information you sent in advance. In order to participate, you must check-in prior to the attempt. Check-in will be open during the football game.

Schedule of events:

Saturday:
9 a.m.Guinness World Records check-in and Claw Game ticket pick up in the main hallway of EPHS, VIP reception and ticket pick up in lower level of EPHS.
11 a.m.Homecoming Football Game | 85th Battle of the Claw vs. the Austin Panthers inside historic R.R. Jones Stadium.
12:30 p.m.Alumni Orchestra Concert in Auditorium
2:45 p.m.Approximately | Official Guinness World Records attempt at the Largest School Reunion ever
