Local student invited to presidential inauguration
A hard-working middle school student has been invited on a trip of a lifetime.
Angel Salinas is an eighth grade student at Lynn Middle School in Las Cruces.
Two years ago, Salinas went to Boston to attend an Envision program for STEM.
His hard work was recognized, when recently he was invited by that same program to attend the presidential inauguration.
“I think the whole experience is something they will never forget regardless on who is elected,” said Angel’s mother, Veronica Apodaca.
Angel’s family has setup a Go Fund Me page to assist with the finances for the trip.
