Young Adult Ministry of Destiny Family Christian Center sets big goal for its annual fundraiser
“Hoops 4 Troops” event sets goal to raise $5000.
The Young Adult Ministry of Destiny Family Christian Center is hosting its third annual “Hoops 4 Troops” benefit basketball tournament. The proceeds benefit the Military Student Success Center at the University of Texas El Paso. The organization provides scholarships, mentorships, training and resources to military students at UTEP.
The “Hoops 4 Troops” tournament will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Montwood High School at 12000 Montwood Drive. Registration starts at 6 p.m. and the tournament goes on until 9 p.m. For more information or to donate, check the organization’s website at http://ktchancellor.wixsite.com/h4t16.
