Argument between neighbors leads to shooting

A man is in critical condition after being shot several times by his neighbor, police said.

Police responded to the shooting around 4 a.m. Saturday on the 3500 block of Pershing.

Investigators say the 32-year-old victim’s car was being pelted by objects thrown from the window by his upstairs neighbors who were arguing. Police say the victim confronted the male neighbor in the parking lot and that’s when the man shot the victim numerous times.

The suspect fled on foot before officers’ arrived. The man was quickly identified and a warrant for his arrest charging him with aggravated assault has been issued.
