EPCSO searching for sex offender in violation of parole

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO) is searching for a convicted sex offender who violated his parole. Alfonso Pando Orosco, 43, was last seen leaving the El Paso Transitional Center at 1650 Horizon. Orosco was scheduled to report to the EPCO SORT unit but never arrived to his appointment. Authorities say he cut off his ankle monitor which alerted authorities. His last known location was the 2900 block of Pershing. Orosco was convicted of criminal sexual penetration in New Mexico.
