Police: Man accused of placing boy in a headlock; victim passed out
Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit arrested a man accused of choking an 8-year-old boy.
Police charged Frank Molina with “Injury To A Child.”
On Saturday, November 19, Molina allegedly grabbed the victim by the hair, pulled him off a bicycle and threw him to the ground, police said.
The alleged abuse happened shortly before 5 p.m. on the 10500 block of Montwood.
Molina then allegedly placed the victim in a headlock and choked the boy until he passed out, police added.
The boy fell to the ground and suffered abrasions to his face.
Investigators learned about the incident Monday, November 21, 2016.
Molina was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a bond of $10,000.
