Body found in Socorro identified; no foul play suspected

Sheriff’s deputies have taken over the investigation into a body found on the 9900 block of Alameda Monday morning.

The Socorro Police Department was initially the lead investigative agency.

Sheriff’s office officials identified the body as that of 62-year-old Alma Wurz.

No foul play is suspected, officials said. An autopsy is pending.
