NMSU records 12th straight victory, beating UMKC 77-64 Thursday

The NMSU Aggies started conference play on the right foot with a 77-64 win at UMKC.

After starting the season 2-2, the Aggies have now won 12 in a row.

Braxton Huggins hit six three-pointers in the win over the Kangaroos, tallying a game-high 31 points.

Eli Chuha also came up big for NMSU with a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double, while guard Ian Baker notched 12 points of his own.

As a team, the Aggies shot just under 51-percent from the field in the victory.

The Aggies have a chance to run their winning streak to 13 at Chicago State on Saturday.
