New Mexico man dies in rollover crash near Dell City

A New Mexico man is dead following a rollover crash near Dell City.

Department of Public Safety officials tell ABC-7 the crash happened Saturday morning on Highway US 62 about 23 miles outside of Dell City.

Officials say four people were riding in a truck when a tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control. The truck rolled over several times, killing 41-year-old Rigoberto Villa from Jal, New Mexico.

The driver and a teen passenger inside, both from Berino, New Mexico, were treated on scene for minor injuries. A 7-year-old passenger from Jal, New Mexico was taken to Sun City Emergency Room for minor injuries as well.

Officials say Villa was not wearing a seatbelt.
