January 9th road closures
EL PASO, Texas – There are some changes to road closures for the first day of the work week, here is a list of the ones most likely to affect your commute.
Overnight closures:
9 pm – 5 am
I-10 westbound at the Mesa Exit and entrance will be completely closed. I-10 East will be reduced to one lane at the Mesa exit and entrance.
Daytime closures:
9 am – 4 pm
I-10 Eastbound will be reduced to one lane between North Mesa overpass, and Resler overpass.
9 am – 3 pm
Alternate lane closures on I-10 east and westbound between Anthony and Sunland Park.
Alternate lane closures on Transmountain (loop 375) east and westbound between US-54 and I-10.
Right lane closure on Cesar Chavez-Border highway (loop 375) westbound between US-54 and Yarbrough Dr.
9 am – 3 pm
Schuster underpass will be closed on North and Southbound directions, as well as the Eastbound exit ramp on I-10.
9 am – 3 pm
Left lane closure on Transmountain from Gateway S to Plexxar Dr.
9 am – 3 pm
Alternate left and right lane closures on Gateway East from Copia to Raynolds.
Alternate left and right lane closures on Gateway West from Chelsea to Raynolds.
9 am – 4 pm
Alternate lane closures on I-10 East and West between David Rd and Vinton overpass.
Horizon City:
The Eastlake Phase 1 project has begun and is expected to last 120 days. Traffic is becoming an issue at N. Darrington all the way up to Pelicano. Avoid the area if possible.
