EPPD officers seize more than 115 pounds of marijuana; teenager charged

Police officers with the Mission Valley Regional Command Center arrested and charged a man with Possession of Marijuana Saturday.
At 4:30 pm., Sunday officers responded to a narcotics deal in progress in the parking lot of 7130 Gateway East.

Officers located a white Ford F-150 and Herson Alfredo Casas, 19, in the parking lot. The pickup and Casas matched the description of the vehicle and individual involved in a drug deal, police said.

Casas was allegedly in possession of of four ounces of marijuana on his person. Police allegedly found 10 wrapped bundles of marijuana in the backseat of the F-150.

The total weight of the 10 wrapped bundles of Marijuana was 115.85 pounds. Casas was jailed on a $75,000 bond.
