Rock band Journey to perform at Haskins Center

Journey will return to El Paso this summer.

The 70s and 80s rock band, known for hits like “Don’t Stop Believin'” and “Any Way You Want It” is scheduled to perform July 15 at the Don Haskins Center.

According to a news release from UTEP’s Office of Special Events, 80s supergroup Asia will open for Journey.

Journey formed in San Francisco in 1973. They have had several multi-platinum albums and 18 Top 40 Singles. Worldwide, Journey has sold more than 80 million albums.

The current lineup includes Neal Schon, founding member and lead guitarist; bassist Ross Valory; drummer Steve Smith; keyboardist Jonathan Cain; and singer Arnel Pineda.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
